INTRODUCTION
Hello Friends,
Indian food is incomplete without a chutney.
Today I will talk to you about a small but very mouthwatering fruit called ‘Kerry’ (Raw Mango). Remember those hot summer days of school life when a single child bringing Kerry would grab the attention of each and every student of the class and every other student would flatter that child in every way possible to make him/her share the fruit with them.
Mango is called the ‘King of Fruits’. It has many health benefits. It not only has less calories but also helps in weight loss. This chutney can be used as a Dip or a Spread on a Sandwich. It has many tastes like salty, sour, sweet, spicy, in our language ‘chatpata’.
INGREDIENTS
- Raw Mango peeled and seeds removed
- Chopped Coriander- 1 Small Bowl
- Chopped Garlic- 5 to 6 Cloves
- Onion- 1 Piece (Small Size)
- Red chillies- 5-6 pieces
- Blacksalt- ¼ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Jaggery- 1 small (5-6 gms approx.)
PROCEDURE
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend to make a fine paste. Pour this paste in a bowl and garnish with chopped raw mango.
It gives bites to chutney and gives an extra taste to the chutney. Taste of this chutney activates our taste buds and our mouth gets filled with water.
