Hello guys, You must have noticed sometimes I talk about one ingredient “Garam Masala” in my recipes. Today. I’m gonna tell you how to prepare Garam masala at home. It’s an Indian spice made with a blend of some spices.
It has a special aroma and adds an amazing taste to the dishes in which it is included, mostly in Curry, Chicken, Mixed Vegetables etc.
Coriander seeds- 100gms
Cumin seeds- around 50
Green Cardamom- 25 gms
Black Cardamom- 4-6
Black pepper- 25 gms
Star Anise- 2
Cinnamon- 25 gms
Bay leaf- 8 pieces
- Clean all the ingredients and roast for 2-3 mins.
- Place them in a big plate.
- When all the spices have cooled down, put them in a jar and blend them.
- Store it in an airtight container.
- Your Garam masala is ready for use.
It has many herbal qualities and is highly beneficial for our body. Each and every spice included has its own benefit to offer.
Use it in a limited quanitity though, not in a large amount.
